Collaborative Design: Cooper River Bridge Project

The old Cooper River Bridge in Charleston, South Carolina, no longer exists. Replaced by its new and modern successor, the old bridge is the subject of an engaging art project by Jane Williams.

The project consists of a collection of materials and art works that document, preserve, and reflect the visual and personal experiences that the Grace and Pearman bridges afforded to visitors and residents of the region.

Faced with the task of developing a website for the project that presents the many aspects of this fascinating art project in an entertaining and informative manner, Williams enlisted the help of Topos Media's art director H-Ray Heine.
